Before you set the timings of your wedding day, make sure you have had a meeting with your photographer …

… to discuss your requirements regarding your wedding photography. Your photographer can advise you on the best times for certain photographs to take place, depending on the sun’s movement on the day, as well as things to consider when planning, e.g. an outdoor ceremony, candlelit reception etc. Ensure you have this meeting before the invites go out so you can be rest assured that you will get the best possible photos of your day.

Bonus Tips …
  1. Never worry about the weather! So much planning has gone into a wedding day and the weather question always sits at the back of the Bride’s mind. Of all the things to worry about for your wedding day, the weather is the one thing you have the least control over. As long as you have a rainy day backup plan, all will be good. We also read once that wind means that your ancestors are just popping in to say “hi”. Just relax and know that your photographer has most likely experienced most weather conditions, embraces them as part of your day and includes it as an element to enhance your photos!
  2. Make sure that you get along with your suppliers, especially the ones that you will spend time with leading up to and on your wedding day! Try and keep the week before your wedding day ‘task free’ and spend some time pampering yourself – a massage is always a good thing!
