Summer, Thomas & Bernard welcome to the Midlands Bridal Fair 2017 in KZN. We are so excited to introduce you and your business to our Brides- and Grooms-to-be!
Tell us about yourself and your company
Barefeet Videography is a team of family and best friends, which was created out of a desire to help Brides & Grooms remember and relive the most precious day of their lives, for what it truly was. We love love, and we adore creating something beautiful and unique out of each and every single love story. Our style is very journalistic and documentary-style which helps the viewer stay connected to the events and story of the day in a true way.
Tell people about your business and what you offer
Barefeet Videography offers a wedding film like very few others in the industry. We focus on each Bride & Groom as a unique and special entity and our hearts are to serve and love and bring an atmosphere of joy, peace and comfort to each wedding we capture.
We truly see each wedding day as a privilege and an honour to attend and we do not take our jobs lightly. Our goal is to make the Bride & Groom feel relaxed and at ease in front of the camera, making the day absolute bliss for the couple and the final film a joy to watch.
We offer the full ceremony, formalities and all the speeches in each package, as well as a beautiful highlights montage of the entire day. We believe these are the moments that are utterly irreplaceable and we do not want any couple to go without, just because they do not have the budget.
Our packages range from basic to bells-and-all to cater for you and exactly what you can afford and envision.
How did you get into the wedding industry?
Bernard began training in film and multimedia and would film friends and family’s weddings to bless them. When Thomas and Summer saw his raw, unique, remarkable style, as well as the definite need for a Wedding Film in every love story, Barefeet Videography – Down-to-Earth Wedding Films, was born. Since then, Bernard and Thomas have filmed over 100 weddings all over South Africa and neighbouring countries and given the gift of a lifetime to so many happy couples.
How long have you been doing this for?
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to delve into a good love story every day of our lives while we edit, as well as being a part of our Bride & Groom’s most special memory often takes our breath away. We are so blessed!
What differentiates your business and makes you stand out? What are you known for?
We focus on providing our Bride & Groom with a true, real memory of their special day. We are known for our documentary-style, that makes it look as if an involved guest was filming your wedding (a very talented, amazing one 😉)
What can visitors to the Midlands Bridal Fair expect to see from you at the fair?
A montage of great weddings playing on our HD big-screens as well as friendly faces ready to answer all of your questions and help you in any way we can.
Any client testimonial/s you’d like to share?
“Darren and I just want to say a huge huge thank you to you guys and Thomas. He was so awesome, got everyone to relax and he didn’t run for the hills when he saw how crazy we were lol. Everywhere you looked Thomas was there capturing moments and he even went the extra mile being the guy standing on the chair for Darren to get the garter lol.
“Words can’t even begin to explain how much we loved having him as part of our special day, everyone had nothing but praises for him (hope that came out right lol)
“Will definitely be telling the world about you guys, you guys have something special going and we are super excited to see the final product. Thank you for everything” – The Swanepoels
Tell us what inspires you. Any websites, people or companies that you follow?
We love weddings that are so clearly true to the couple and the very unique and special love they share. We love following fellow photographers and videographers to learn and become even better at what we do.
What advice would you give Brides- and/or Grooms-to be?
Be true to who you are as a couple and on the day, let go of everything except your lover’s gaze.
