Yolandi, welcome to the Midlands Bridal Fair 2017 in KZN. We are so excited to introduce you and your business to our Brides- and Grooms-to-be!

Tell us a little bit about yourself

My name is Yolandi and I am the co-owner of Bella Bride KZN together with my mum Joey. I am marred with two beautiful children aged 10 and 12. I have a passion for people and absolutely love what I do.

Tell people about your business and what you offer

Bella Bride KZN offers a unique and personal experience when choosing the dress of your dreams. We stock our own designs under our Bella Bride range and also offer the option of custom-made designs to suit the Bride’s specific needs. Our price, quality and attention to detail is what makes us, our Bride’s first choice.

How did you get into the wedding industry?

Visit our new website and click on the about us tab to read our fascinating story 🙂

How long have you been doing this for?

Eight years.

What do you love most about your job?

I love meeting the exited Brides-to-be for the first time. The excitement is just electric and to see her in her dream dress is just the cherry on the cake.

What differentiates your business and makes you stand out? What are you known for?

We are known for our personal touch. But more than that, we are also known for our exquisite range of imported wedding gowns (obviously) 🙂

What can visitors to the Midlands Bridal Fair expect to see from you at the fair?

Gorgeous wedding gowns that take your breath away.

Any client testimonial/s you’d like to share?

Our Facebook page is covered in testimonials and photos from our beautiful Brides and it speaks for itself.

Tell us what inspires you. Any websites, people or companies that you follow?

My Brides inspire me. New fashion inspires me, beautiful Chantilly Lace, Chiffon, Silk and Swarovski Crystals inspire me….

I don’t take too much notice of who follows us on Social Media although those things are great. What I do take notice of are the expressions, giggles, joy and shwooshing…. (when she has found THE ONE) that is what motivates and inspires me most.

Any upcoming wedding trend forecasts?

Ummm. Interesting one….

I think we are in such an exiting time when it comes to trends in our industry. I would say, on the one hand authentic, raw, individual tastes and textures and on the other feminine, unique, soft, with lots of lace or even simple classic satin styles. So exiting. Never boring!

What advice would you give Brides- and/or Grooms-to be?

Enjoy every moment.
Explore your options.
Stay true to yourself.

Do you have a favourite quote?

Haha!!! Yes, I do… my own…

“If my husband does not cry when I walk down the aisle, I am turning around and doing it all over again…” – Yolandi Milne
