Sean, welcome to the 2018 Midlands Bridal Fair. We are so excited to introduce you and your business to our Brides- and Grooms-to-be!
We’d love to know more about you and how you got into the industry…
My interest in photography started in the US in the late 90’s while living in Chicago studying black and white photography. I developed an interest in disposable 35mm Kodak cameras before progressing to my first SLR. Interest turned into passion, capturing individual moments evokes different emotions for different people and for that reason I love capturing graceful and romantic moments.
What services and expertise does your business offer to clients?
Gone are the days of receiving a few prints to be placed in an album with pages stuck together. We are consuming images in a whole different way. Each package is designed with this in mind, for you to share those treasured moments while still enjoying the modern photo album, viewing photos the way they are meant to be…
I am absolutely passionate about what I do. This is evident after just a few minutes spent talking to me about your photographic requirements. I also teach photography and mentor startups though my involvement with the brands for whom I am an ambassador.
I will be supplying you a valuable keepsake that will last a lifetime, therefore I see myself as not just a person who takes pretty pictures but an artist and a storyteller.
With my knowledge I can mentor and guide you. It’s not just about the images I take but rather my ability to capture the entire experience from the moment you first make contact to paging through your albums and re-living the moments of your story time and time again.
How long have you been doing this for?
6 years specialising in wedding photography.
What do you love most about the work you do?
I do not have a job – I do what I love! Creating beautiful images is one of many elements of my job that I absolutely love. Capturing your story in an album is another part I’m incredibly passionate about.
What can visitors to the Midlands Bridal Fair expect to see from you at the fair?
In choosing a photographer for your wedding, you are selecting the person who will capture the moments to last a lifetime. Your photographer is an artist, a storyteller, a business person and a mentor to guide you on your journey. From the onset, it is important that you and your photographer get along, as they will be alongside you throughout the day and prior to the day. You can come and meet me in person, I will have sample albums you can enjoy, and I will happily answer any questions.
What advice would you give to Brides- and/or Grooms-to-be?
There is only so much you can plan. Take advice from seasoned service providers when it comes to scheduling and planning. The day goes by quicker than you think and only a few things from your wedding day will last forever. Decide what’s important and do not compromise on that.
