Three Cities’ Tala Private Game Reserve is a wildlife conservancy nestled in the hills of a sleepy farming in KwaZulu-Natal. Tala’s mix of acacia Thornveld, open grassland and sensitive wetland makes for exceptional game viewing and birding watching, and sets the stage for magnificent photographs.

With a number of superb venues, an exceptional service team and located within a beautiful setting, Tala is the ideal destination for weddings, conferences, and a number of other events. Elsewise, it is also the perfect location for short retreats, or weekend getaway, designed for those who wish to rejuvenate and relax.

Tala allows you to get up close and personal with nature, and interact with the animals and environment in a unique way. Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush in this incredible wildlife sanctuary. The reserve spans over 3000 hectares, and incorporates a diverse array of natural environments.

The area is home to well over 380 bird species, as well as big game such as rhino, giraffe, kudu, hippo and eland. Distinctive plant species to be found in the reserve include the fiery aloe, and fragrant wild sage.

There are a number of ways to experience the outdoors at Tala Private Game Reserve, all of which are wonderfully memorable. Game drives are held throughout the day with qualified, experienced guides. Bush walks held along the many trails are also an exciting way to explore the reserve.
